Hi, I'm Julia Sullivan. I am a wife, a mother, a mental health professional, a photographer and someone who is living with a mental illness. I have struggled with major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder for many years. I have been hospitalized numerous times and have been on many different medications, been in counseling and have had other forms of treatment. During one of my lower points I was able to capture the depth of my sadness in this self-portrait.
