Our collaborative process involves working on the same piece at the same time, while striking a balance between both parties so that each person's wants and desires are factored into the final piece. It gives us the opportunity to dive deeper into the idea of trusting the process and each other's ideas, while not having total control over the final outcome. The outcome evolves into something completely different from what either would have come up with on their own. Being open to each other's ideas is what makes collaboration so successful.
