Artists's Statement: I was asked by a friend why I didn't have a twitter account for my art? My answer to him was simple, "I have been an artist for nearly 40 years, I'm already screaming into endless voids." In its simplest form this work is about and explores the frustrations that I as well as, all artists feel when their work is misunderstood. Adding to that I firmly believe that all my art are self-portraits except of course when I do a self-portrait. Those are pure theatre; we show the viewer what we want him/her to see.
