The idea behind Home Fires, besides unrestrained joy, is that you never see what goes on in people’s houses and you aren’t going to see it here either. During the day this piece is lit with red flood lights but at night, after the gallery closes and everyone has gone home, the black lights come on, the florescent paint bursts with color, and the piece becomes truly alive.
