In interpreting, I chose to use the category as a personal narrative of how looking to the past helps me define where I am and how I have arrived to this point. This piece provided a benchmark, a threshold for me in the development of my presented artistic imagery, then as now, agglomerations of objects and ideas spun together into a strong narrative. The aggregation of images were all pertinent to drawings and prints and series of image specific work that preceded it.This piece was constructed and the image was drawn from my viewpoint; the piece was a mid-career review of what and why, the definition of how my imagery developed my attitude and perceptions. It was at the same time nostalgiac and a categorized inventory of past thoughts / interpretations.
