so icy cold
words shatter
you crack split snap
from the cold
spewed phrases
oblique plague
splayed
icy tone
and eyes match
the iris cracks
icy stare
lips curl cold breath
breathe seethe
not enough you hear
so more words rattle
icy cold prattle
words drip off lips
cold cold and sharp
icicle shards
 
and from whitened whites
of your eye
a lone cold tear
speaks louder than any of the cold words
i speak you hear
 
one word melts
one more word
