This painting is designed to evoke a feeling and sense of calm, security, and overall pleasantness. When I think of mental health and stability, I think of the feeling of perfect love surrounding another individual and laying their fears to the wayside. 
 
The multiple feathered brush strokes are reminiscent of water, and perhaps even of Monet's Water Lilies. The red hues evoke passion and warmth, the blues and tans are calming and soothing. Together they have a balanced and dynamic temperament that invites the viewers to participate in a sort of meditation process presented by the non-reprsentational Painting.
